Morocco
By admin on April 25, 2013
Its been nearly 3 weeks since I have been back from morocco, and i am really missing it.
I spend 3 weeks traveling into marrakech, the Sahara through Ouarzazate and Zagora and then upto Fes, into Rabat, down the coast to Casablanca, Essaouira, Taghazout, Agadir and then back in to marrakech. It was an amazing time, seeing the different Medians in different areas and seeing the contrast in the newer side on the areas in the ville nouvelle and beach areas.
From a photography perspective moroccans hate having there photographs taken and get quite rude and irate about it, which is always fun. So as well as trying to the capture the essence of my morocco experience, which involved people being involved in my photographs. So i had to become very sneaky and look to take photo’s when people were not looking.
My photographs in a whole are from the different places and cities i visted, morooco has a mix of different people and from different backgrounds, one corner there are people begging and looking through bins and around another a family enjoying the beach and looking to buy some new trainers. The markets are full of tourists but of the beaten track there are moroocans looking for deals and looking do there shopping for the day (along with alot of cats) There are still religions believes all over the country with some jewish quarters still active in certain areas, and people dedicating there time to the religion and praying as well as adoring there new king.
All in all the places i visited are full of some quite horrible sights but also some of the most beautiful sights i have ever seen and some of the scenery is to die for, clouds meeting mountains and the sun setting as people go out to surf for the evening.
I hope you enjoy the 1st part of 3 parts of my photographs the next part will pop up next week and the 3rd when i have enough money to send off my black and white films or enough time to go over to Brimigham to get them processed.
Peace x
Wedding Photography
By admin on February 15, 2013
Afternoon, Ive just been editing a lot of my photos from the weddings i did last year with workhorse weddings (http://weddingphotographerbirmingham.net/) I was shooting the main shots from different angles and aspects, using flash and different shutter speeds. The wedding side i was getting together with the groom for some shots before the wedding, while getting some reportage shots of people and the place. I have edited a lot of the photos in different ways and styles (basically messing about a bit, but with some great effect). I will be working again with workhorse weddings this year, after my trip to morocco for a month in march. Enjoy these photographs.

National Autism Society
By admin on June 16, 2012
Recently I entered the National Autism Society photography competition.
Out of 500 applicants I got shortlisted with 12 other photographers. The title of the compeition was ‘friendship’.
I had worked with adults with learning disabilities as a social support worker for Stratford and district Mencap and had a few images that fitted into this category. I filtred through my images and found the perfect photograph of two eldery gentleman that I supported.
Royston (left) and Anthony (right) where both great characters and loved me taking this photograph, which shows you the great friendship that they have.
I didn’t win the competition but I enjoyed going down to the autism show and having photograph shortlisted and overall being part of something so worth while.

Barcelona
By admin on March 1, 2012
Hello,
This is first blog on my brand new website and brand new blog, i will continue with my tumblr by adding some photographs and linking my new blog to it.
On the 13th of January I visited Barcelona for the 4th time. A small get away with my D300 and My newly purchased Nikon F4 with a bag of Kodak TRI-X 400 black and white film.
I wanted to portray my view of Barcelona and some areas of interest and some areas of the beaten track. With both Cameras in hand at most of the time i swapped between both as i saw the photo.
Here are my 1st images off my F4
